The Secret Life of Us was one of the few Australian TV drama series that managed to, not
just capture, but define the times and what it was like to be in your 20s. It was hip, sharp
and straight to the point. It challenged typical notions of family and friends.
Talented co-creator and producer, Amanda Higgs, is back with another intriguing
relationship focused series, The Time of Our Lives, starring Claudia Karvan, Justine
Clarke, Shane Jacobson, William McInnes, and Stephen Curry. It asks: what’s it like to be
in your 40s?
Between acute observations on what the series has to say about life and love, Amanda
will discuss what it took to get this TV drama series up and running and the process of
setting the tone and tempo of that all-important first episode.
